Michelle finds photos that reveal that those closest to her are hiding secrets including the one last person he'd ever suspect.
INT. MOTEL - NIGHT
Michelle enters, Sebastion closes the door, she sort of paces the motel, he stands by the door. It's obvious Michelle's had a few drinks.
MICHELLE
I waited for you for hours at our spot but you never showed up.
SEBASTION
I had some things I had to do.
MICHELLE
What could be more important than following you dreams and hanging out with a friend.
SEBASTION
Work.
MICHELLE
Work?
SEBASTION
Yeah work. See though I'd love to I'm not fortunate enough to be able to hang out on the beach all day, my parents don't make that kind of money. I had to just about beg to get my
job back. And as far as dreams, what do you think is funding them, I have to work during the day so that I can hang out at the beach at night, If I don't you know what I say goodbye to
the beach and my dreams.
She moves closer to the table and notices a stack of pictures.
MICHELLE
Oh you developed more pictures. She picks up the stack. His face looks concerned.
She begins flipping through.
SEBASTION
I haven't had a chance to really sort through them...
Her hand stops, her face pauses on a picture. Its a picture of Bobby and Heather making out.
Sebastion moves closer.
SEBASTION (cont'd)
I didn't want you to find that.
Michelle continues into the picture, finally moving on to the next which is close to the same thing.
SEBASTION (cont'd)
You knew didn't you. He's not worth you.
MICHELLE
Its none of you business.
SEBASTION
Sorry I...
MICHELLE
Who gives you the right to film us. Our lives. You don't observe your lives, you're stealing them. You're using them for your own personal pleasure.
SEBASTION
And what are you doing?
MICHELLE
What?
SEBASTION
Are you not using me, I didn't see you beating down my door until your other friends all of a sudden got to busy for you, you were never my friend.
MICHELLE
You were my friend...
SEBASTION
What during the day, because the night is another story all together. All of sudden I become the friend you decide to ignore. The closest I ever decided to get to you and you're friends was the day I realized just how far from you I really was.
MICHELLE
Don't try and turn this around, the moral remains that you're a thief.
SEBASTION
And a liar.
MICHELLE
What?
SEBASTION
A thief and a liar. Selling myself on you when you were never mine in the first place and then lying, deceiving myself telling myself that I could possibly fit into your world,
but the biggest lie was the one that I told myself that she really likes to be with me, and wants to be my friend.
He picks up all of the pictures he's taken.
SEBASTION (cont'd)
Here take your lives back and then please leave.
She takes the pictures, her eyes glossy, she walks to the door and exits, he closes the door.
