An international spy is given an assassination assignment he's not sure he can handle.
EXT. PARK - BENCH - DAY
GLENN IVY, Female, 30’s, dressed business casual sits on bench. Eyes disguised behind glasses.
A GENTLEMAN we’ll now know as SHAW approaches from behind her and has a seat next to her. In his hands he clutches a CUP OF COFFEE.
Neither make eye contact but continue to look forward.
Shaw finally breaks his silence.
SHAW
I see it didn’t take long for you to miss this life.
GLENN IVY
No not the life. I’ve been a spy over ten years. Had missions in some of the most dangerous parts of the world and the only reason I decided to get reactivated is because I never felt closer to death than the day I decided to retire.
SHAW
They say life expectancy is Ten years. I hope that’s not the case.
GLENN IVY
Why? You deciding to retire?
SHAW
Actually yes.
GLENN IVY
When?
SHAW
After this assignment. That is unless this assignment retires me first.
GLENN IVY
You should be fine. You’ve been assigned a lot more dangerous missions I assure you. This one if anything is more psychological.
Glenn pulls out a MANILLA FILE and sets it on the Lap of Shaw.
He opens it. There’s a Picture of a Young Lady and a Profile on her.
GLENN IVY
She’s a Hacker that goes by the name, Advisor. Though not a physical threat she’s a cyber terrorist and may be the biggest danger our country has ever encountered.
Shaw looks at her picture.
SHAW
She reminds me of...
GLENN IVY
Helen Neue. She’s her daughter.
Shaw finally looks over at Glenn Ivy.
GLENN IVY
Yes. And yours.
He does his best to process the information he’s been given. Glenn continues to be nonchalant.
Shaw finally closes the Folder, stands up and begins to walk away.
GLENN IVY
You’ve got...
SHAW
Seventy Two Hours to secure the asset. I got it.
He's a professional, walks away with question or any expression. Glen Ivy watches.
